Lachlan Currie is a craftsman. He’s worked on Melbourne’s only World Heritage building, the Royal Exhibition Building. And he builds musical instruments, and even skateboards!
He’s been working with his hands for as long as he can remember. First working hands-on with his dad, and then as an apprentice and eventually with his own business. He’s highly experienced with many kinds of materials and has that rare skill of being able to see in his minds-eye how to fix it and what it’ll look like when finished.
He takes enormous pleasure in being able to sort out those tricky issues that no-one else seems to be able to sort out. Lachlan will always seek to keep it affordable and repair it before he recommends a replacement.
